The Disney Company now has six properties all over the world. Each with a Disneyland style park anchored by an icon in the form of a castle. Sleeping Beauty has three castles, Cinderella has two, and the new Shanghai Disney Resort has the Enchanted Storybook Castle. But have you ever wondered which one is truly the biggest?

Here are the Disney Castles in order of height from smallest, to largest:

#6
Sleeping Beauty Castle – Anaheim, CA (77 feet tall)

The original Disney park icon created by Walt Disney stands in the center of Disneyland Park in Anaheim, CA. It’s total height is 77 ft. The same height as it’s twin…

#5
Sleeping Beauty Castle – Hong Kong (77 feet tall)

An (almost) exact replica of Walt’s original 77 ft castle stands as the centerpiece of Hong Kong Disneyland.

#4
Sleeping Beauty Castle – Paris, France (167 feet tall)

I guess Disney’s Imagineers decided that Aurora needed a size upgrade when they built her new castle at Disneyland Paris at 167 ft. Fun fact: There is also a dragon that lives underneath the castle. Scary!

#3
Cinderella Castle – Tokyo, Japan (168 feet tall)

Tokyo Disneyland’s Cinderella Castle is smaller than the original in Orlando, but still clocks in at an impressive 168 feet tall.

#2
Cinderella Castle – Orlando, Florida (189 feet tall)

Cinderella’s original castle stands in the center of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and measures an impressive 189 feet tall. Why 189 feet? Because in Florida, any structure 190 feet or taller must have a flashing red aircraft beacon on top…and that would just be ugly.

#1
Enchanted Storybook Castle – Shanghai, China (197 feet tall)

The newest castle in Disney’s collection anchors the newly opened Shanghai Disney Resort and is also it’s largest at 197 feet tall! It’s so big it even has a boat ride inside!

How many of Disney’s castles have you seen?
